K&N Extended-Life Cabin Air Filter for Lexus – Disposable, carbon-layer cabin filter
The K&N Extended-Life Cabin Air Filter is a disposable replacement for the factory cabin filter on the electric vehicles in the fitment list below. It cleans the air drawn into the cabin through the heating and ventilation system, catching dust, dirt and pollen before it reaches the occupants. Listed models include Lexus UX300e.
The pleated media is combined with an activated carbon layer to help reduce odours. K&N describes the media as electrostatically charged for capturing PM2.5 particles. Service life depends on driving conditions and local air quality, so check the filter at each service and replace it once it looks dirty or airflow from the vents drops.

Fitment
Not suitable for: vehicles not in the fitment list above. Check your model year before ordering.
Installation
The filter is usually behind the glove box. Lower or release the glove box, unclip the old filter cover, slide out the old filter, then fit the new one with the airflow arrow pointing the same way. Close the housing and check the glove box clips back into place.
Which vehicles does this filter fit?
Use the fitment list above. It shows each make, model and year range K&N lists for this part number. If your car is not listed, do not order it. A VIN check before ordering is the safest option.
Is this filter washable?
No. This is a disposable filter. For a reusable option, see the K&N Washable Cabin Air Filter range.
How often should I replace it?
K&N describes it as extended-life, but the interval depends on driving and air quality. Replace it when it looks dirty, when the cabin smells musty, or when airflow from the vents drops.
Does it help with odours?
Yes. The activated carbon layer is designed to reduce unwanted odours, which helps keep the cabin air fresher.
Does it help with pollen and allergens?
K&N states that the filter captures up to 99.9% of pollen and other allergens. The test conditions behind that figure are not published, so treat it as the manufacturer's claim.
How long does fitting take?
K&N states that most installations take a few minutes with little or no tools. Access can vary between models.
